Selectron’s SelecTXT solution for utilities offers utility customers a convenient way to manage their accounts simply by sending a text message. Rather than calling or going online to access their account, a customer can retrieve account information by texting a specified phone number. SelecTXT automatically responds with the customer’s existing balance (if any), and offers the ability to make a payment. The customer can also access billing, payment and usage history by texting simple one-letter or one-word commands.

SelecTXT is offered as part of Selectron’s Relay platform, meaning utility administrators can manage this service through the Relay Portal.
