Coming Soon to the Relay Portal: Multi-Factor Authentication

For government agencies, protecting IT systems and the vital customer data within them is of the utmost importance. With that in mind, Selectron is rolling out multi-factor authentication for Relay Portal as a way to prevent unauthorized access and make our systems even more secure.

You may have encountered multi-factor authentication while banking online, accessing social media, or shopping, where an online platform requires an additional step, or “factor,” in order to log in. Beginning March 10th, users logging in to Relay Portal will receive an email after entering their password. The email contains an access code, which they’ll use to confirm their identity and access the system. Once the user has logged in, they can choose to have the system remember their device for future logins.

Be on the lookout for details on our upcoming March 3rd webinar for customers who would like more information or have questions on what multi-factor authentication for the Relay Portal means for them.

We hope to see you there!
